Baking parchment paper is generally divided into two types of paper, Quilon® and Silicone® treated papers. Quilon® treated paper is better for low heat applications. . . generally up to 400 degrees for about half an hour. Silicone® treated paper is better for high heat applications and/or longer baking periods. The difference is price. Quilon® treated baking parchment is generally much cheaper than it's Silicone® treated counterpart. It's great for most baking applications.
